My Top 4 Blushers

Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks in Pink Cloud £1.99
This blusher may be dirt cheap but you don't lose out on quality (in my opinion). This is an ideal blush for those with quite pale complexions, or a heavy hand when it comes to application! I like to load my brush with plenty of product and it gives my cheeks a healthy, flushed pink glow as if I've been for a brisk walk. I can still see the colour on my cheeks after a full day's wear and it doesn't give me clown cheeks! The packaging is basic but pretty, but for £1.99 I don't expect too much - the actual product is brilliant and that the main thing.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in Rose D'or £7.49
Now, I know the blogging world and his wife are in love with this blusher so I won't go on about it too much! This has been my go to blusher for a long time - you can see by how flat it's become - and I absolutely adore it. I was a little heavy handed with this blush once during a pretty bad cold which resulted in my boyfriend telling me I had 'prostiture cheeks', oops! Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped me and I would repurchase this again and again - the scent is just lovely and I know everyone hates on the brushes but I actually don't mind them. I find they are great for the apples of my cheeks.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in Lune D'or 7.49
This blush is a lovely golden/peach colour with a gorgeous shimmer running through it. My cheeks looks nice and highlighted with this and I like to use it over a tan for a bit of extra glow.

Sleek Blush in Flamingo £4.30
I haven't had this blush for very long but I quickly learned to apply it with a very light hand! It is the most gorgeous Barbie pink blush and I love to pair it with bright pink lips! I would use this blush more for a night out than everyday wear due to the high pigmentation. The packaging is pretty sturdy and the black makes it look very sleek and tidy.

What is your favourite blusher? Do you use any of these?

Saturday Night Face

This was my makeup for our anniversary dinner last night - we went to a lovely little restaurant/pub in the country. It was so warm and cosy in there; it was very rustic with a big open fire and the food was absolutely divine, I could have eaten the meal twice! We both tried venison for our main course as we had never eaten it before; I was a bit nervous of whether I would like it or not but it was delicious!

I look a bit healthier than my last photo, thanks to a large amount of St Moriz fake tan!

My Friday Night Face

Good morning lovelies, how was everyone's Friday night?

I haven't been out for ages now, but last night me and the boy went round to his brothers house for drinks with friends which was nice - a bit headachy this morning but a lovely Costa Coffee will sort that out later!

Anyway, for now, while I'm still tucked up in my jammies I thought I'd post a quick photo of my makeup. I love going out makeup so much more than everyday makeup!

I did keep it quite understated as we weren't going 'out out', but this is what I used:

Face:
MAC Prep & Prime
No7 Quick Cover Concealer in Medium
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in Vanilla
Avon True Colour Blush in Russet
Bourjois Blusher in Lune Dor

Eyes:
Bourjois Felt Tip Eyeliner in Noir
False Eyelashes snipped in half and just used on my outer eye
Stila Eyeshadow in Batura
Avon Glimmerstick Brow Definer in Dark Brown

Lips:
Stila Lipstick in Pam

I hope you all have a lovely day, the sun has made an appearance here for a change!

Fragrance Direct

I meant to blog about this website a few weeks ago but other things kept getting in the way! I came across this site when I was ill over the New Year period and online shopping is a good way to pass the time when you're stuck in bed.

Anyway, this site sells perfume, cosmetics, skin care, bath and body products, hair products and gifts. I was surprised at the amount of brands they sell - some of them I've never heard of, but a lot of them are brands I use on a regular basis such as Bourjois, Rimmel, Maybelline and Max Factor. There is even a little bit of Benefit and Urban Decay.

After a quick look around the site I decided that buying some Bourjois products would definitely make me feel better so I set about filling my basket up. The savings you can make on the products are pretty phenomenal, for example I purchased a 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation for £3.99, saving £5.50 on the RRP.

All together I purchased:
Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation 30ml £9.49 £3.99
Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick 3g £7.99 £1.99
Bourjois Complexion Enhancer Apricot 20ml £5.99 £1.50
Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in Lune Dor 2.5g £7.49 £1.50
Total Saving: £21.98!

I like the overall look and layout of the site and was very impressed with delivery - only £1.95 per order and it arrived two days later perfectly packed and sealed.

I did feel a bit guilty after shopping here, but then I thought I spend enough money on cosmetics and a bargain is a bargain - and this is much better than buying makeup from Ebay and risking fakes or used products.

I wanted to do this post now especially because Valentines Day is coming up! Perfume makes a lovely gift and they are selling lovely ones from Calvin Klein, Nina Ricci, Vera Wang (got my eye on that one) and DKNY - you really can't go wrong...start dropping hints now ladies!

I really recommend this website if you are a bit short on cash but still want a makeup fix - have you ever used this site before?
